Either you like this, or you don't. Most people do. I do. And we tested it in the store and people loved it.
It's a caramel-based pear syrup that will take you back to the orchard. If you like pears, go for it.
And it is spiced, mostly cinnamon. We tried it without the spices. Most people found this outstanding with the spices and missing something without the spices.
You've never had a syrup like this before. Give it a try. It might just be the best syrup you've ever tried. If you don't, we'll give you your money back.

What does this taste like? It's a cousin to a caramel apple. A pear is a little sweeter than an apple. I love the orchard touch to the caramel.
- Does it really taste like caramel? Cooking intensifies the caramel. The more you cook it, the thicker and darker it gets.
- How do I know when I've cooked it enough? Just watch the color. If it's blonde, the caramel will be mild, and the pear will come through. If you get it as dark as the picture, it's caramel--and thick like a sauce, not a syrup.
- Should I serve it warm? It will pour better if it's warm. Warm over pancakes, it's phenomenal.
- It sounds like a dessert sauce, is it? Yes, definitely. For a real treat, drizzle it over pancakes and then top it with flavored whipped cream.
- Is it hard to make? It's easy. Just add water and butter and boil. Just watch the color to make a syrup or a sauce.
- How much will I make? A lot. If you're making a syrup, three cups. The longer you cook it, the less you'll have.
- How long will it keep? Store the leftovers in the refrigerator and use it within two or three weeks. Reheat it in the microwave. It's perfect every time.
This should be on your bucket list. Try it.
You have to try it. If you're a caramel lover, you'll go nuts. If you don't like the sweet, fruity taste of pears, maybe not so much.
I love caramel apples and eat the apple with the caramel. If you eat the two separately, this may not be your favorite. But if you don't like it, we'll give you your money back.
You and your family owe it to yourselves to try this caramel syrup. If they like caramel apples, they'll love it.
Try this on everything from waffles to banana splits.
Ice, cream, whipped cream, and caramel pear syrup on a Belgium waffle.
Caramel pear syrup on bread pudding.
If you're looking for a caramel sauce, cook it until it turns brown. The pear will still come through, but depending on how long you cook it, it's a caramel sauce or a pear syrup.
Ingredients: Sugar, dry buttermilk, corn syrup, baking soda, spices, and natural and artificial flavors.

Not what I expected in texture or taste
I really liked the pear syrup, but I have liked all the buttermilk syrups so far.

It’s spiced, you so you have to like that flavor and it was nice to try to try it but I wouldn’t buy it.
Definitely pear tasting, not so much Carmel, which I was hoping for the opposite. Easy to make. Would classify as pear syrup.
