Customer Questions
- So, are they really made with sweet potatoes? Yes, they are dehydrated and ground into flour but they're real sweet potatoes. When you add water, that rehydrates them.
- What about the cinnamon chips? If you haven't tried cinnamon chips yet, you're in for a treat. They're like chocolate chips but with cinnamon--a burst of cinnamon in every bite.
- Are they really better for my family? Yes. They're made with healthy, natural ingredients including carefully milled, farm-raised sweet potatoes. How's that for homestyle goodness and nutrition?
- What do I add? Just water, no milk or eggs. Like other pancake batters, adjust the water to get the consistency you like for thin or thicker pancakes. Make big batches or small.
- Will my family like them? Do they like pumpkin pie? These pancakes are not as sweet as pumpkin pie--at least until you add syrup. It's not a big jump from sweet potato pie, the Southern favorite, to pumpkin pie.
- Do I cook them any differently from my regular pancakes? Nope. They're simple.
- Do they look different? The sweet potato flour gives them a burnished gold tint.

Recommended syrups
Old Fashioned buttermilk syrup is a classic with sweet potato pancakes. But any of the buttermilk syrups will work fine. I'm partial to the marshmallow syrup with it's grown-up marshmallow flavor and the cinnamon syrup--kind of cross between pie and cinnamon buns. You're going to have fun with this.
