Texas Corn Cakes Pancake Mix (24 oz.)

You'll like these. They're magnificent, better than pancakes, but like pancakes. They're like light cornbread, with more substance than pancakes but light and airy.  

I love these. They're my outdoor pancakes. I feel like I'm eating breakfast, not a snack. They'll stick with me till lunch. I usually top them with buttermilk syrup.

You won't like them; you'll love them. There are lots of ways to fix them. You'll eat them for supper, too.

They're guaranteed down-home, country goodness.

• What's a corn cake? There are lots of corn cakes. They're a cross between pancakes and cornbread. They're slightly sweet, about like pancakes.
• Are they more corn cake or pancake? For me, they're balanced right in the middle.
• So, this is not a casserole dish? I have never had one that way, but I am aware that there are some corn cake casseroles out there.
• Are they as good as pancakes? Better. I like cornbread, and these corn cakes are better than pancakes.
• And you make them for breakfast? I do. I especially like them with bacon, an egg, and grated cheese on top. But I think most people just drizzle syrup on them.
• And what about supper? They're used for quick suppers almost as much as breakfast. There's a link below for quick supper recipes.
• What about waffles? Waffles work fine.

I absolutely love these. Of all the pancake mixes we have, this is what I use the most.  It's got some substance to it without being heavy. For me, it's just good comfort food. I bet your family will love them.
